1: Which ports can be connected to login switch?

All ports, except the console, can be connected besides the optical port.

2: How to set up static IP to login switch on computer?

Step 1 Click on windows key+ R key on the keyboard at the same time.

(Step 1: Click the “Computer” icon on the bottom right of the computer desktop; click “Opening the Network and Sharing Center” in the dialog box.）

Step 2 Type ncpa.cpl in the box, then press OK.

(Step 2: In the “Network and sharing center” dialog box, Click “Change adapter settings”)

Step 3 Select the local area connection, right click it and select Properties.(Step 3: Right click “local connection” and choose “Properties”.)

Step 4 Select Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4), double click it or click Properties.(Step 4: Find and click “Internet Protocol Version (TCP/IP)”; Click “Properties)

Step 5 Choose “Use the following IP address”; Set the IP address: 192.168.1.10, the subnet mask: 255.255.255.0.

Step 6 Open the IE internet explorer on your computer, delete whatever in the address bar and type in http://192.168.1.200, then press Enter, as below:

Step 7 Type the username and password in the login page. The default username and password both are admin, press OK.

3: How to deal with IP conflict?

The default login IP of switch is 192.168.1.200, the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0. As shown above, if the IP address on the computer is 1.200, alter it to 192.168.1. X ( X ranges from 1 to 254, except 200, to avoid IP confliction.).

4: How to set when forgetting the Administrator password?

The administrator account and password are “admin”. Once the account and password are altered but forgotten, please reset the switch. The steps of resetting are as follows:

Step 1 Press the “init” continuously with nib or needle in power supply. ( a pin or a pen when power on)

Step 2 Press for about 5 seconds, all the indicators will on. Lighting for about 40 seconds, they can be back to normal. The port indicator is on which is connected with cable.

Note: The resetting for PSE products is to press “init” for 10 seconds. When the console light flashes, resetting is managed.

Step 3 The default administration address is 192.168.1.200. The default user name and password are “admin”.
